I am from a small and creative family in Auckland, New Zealand. Even while holding down other full time jobs, both my grandparents and my parents have found time to make beautiful handmade gifts in their particular skill and medium. All the way through my life I have known the spark of joy felt when receiving  something that has been made specifically for you.

At Punkadunk I aim to make the keepsakes of my customers dreams. Completely customisable, filled with delightful details and with a sophisticated finish these are greeting cards to keep and treasure.

I want you to feel like a child in a sweet shop, bubbling with excitement and inspiration as you design the perfect keepsake.  I also want you to experience the delight of receiving your package from Punkadunk before the anticipation of gifting it on to the intended recipient.

There is no age limit to favourite colours, animals, past times or interests. The tiny details about a person are so often the most important or memorable ones. Does Grandad always lose his glasses on top of his head? Do you have a dog with a unique coat marking? Does your Aunt always have her apron on? Is there a specific quote your Mum says that you would like to honour?  We can take your small yet significant detail and capture it in a heirloom worthy keepsake.

There is nothing quite like watching someones eyes dance across a personalised card as they take in all the details again and again. There is a sparkle that I want you to see in your loved ones eye when they look at the card you have designed for them.

Before starting Punkadunk I was an early childhood teacher for many years. It was during this time that I really developed my understanding of relationships and how everyone - young and old - need to be seen and appreciated for who they are.

As chronic health issues (endometriosis and central sensitisation syndrome) have unfortunately made it nearly impossible for me to continue to work with children and families, I have had to step away from early childhood teaching, nannying and home help.

I needed a way to create an income, maintain balance in my overall health and well being, and wanting to continue to serve families, bring them joy, support their connections and enhance their sense of belonging. With the never ending support of both my parents and my partner...

...Punkadunk was born. As each card is made completely from scratch from 180gsm paper - each and every detail can be customised and personalised. You do the fun part of choosing what will delight those you love and remind them how much you adore them, and I will do all the fiddly, time consuming rest - with love and attention to detail.
